Strawberry Season

We went strawberry picking today in Montezuma. Talk about locally grown! Maybe next year, we’ll even bike over there.

The kids were finally both big enough to have a good time. We picked a good day, too–not too hot, and we went early, so it wasn’t crowded, despite being a Saturday. Petra and Silas surprised me with how nicely they cooperated when they were looking for all the little berries. No bickering, for once!

And yes, strawberry patches are hella photogenic.
