Pop Culture Fail

Silas has been learning about the world from his friends at preschool.

Overheard this morning:

Petra, do you want to hear a song from Frozen? It’s called “I Wish a Snowman.”

Also, he introduced me to a doll we’ve had for a while (who, I guess, sort of looks like Elsa?):

Mama, this doll is named Frozen, like the girl in the movie.

Later…

Mama, I just tucked Shelly and Frozen and Perdita into the bed.

I can’t help but be reminded of the time when I was in second grade and my friend Lindsay asked me who my favorite New Kid was. I was like…What are the options?

Incidentally, we’re not anti-Frozen, we just haven’t gotten around to it. Soon, seriously! It’s on our Netflix cue and everything.
